THE GREATEST SHOW HITS HAMILTON!

The Cancer Society’s annual ball is set to hit Hamilton and it is promising to deliver “The Greatest Show”.

The annual Cancer Society Ball promises to be a night like no other with its theme “The Greatest Show” and organisers say the event will “delight and inspire”.

The event, now in its third year, is moving to Claudelands Events Centre in Hamilton and the date has been set as - Saturday 17th August 2019, so make sure to pop it in your diary now!

Shelley Campbell, Chief Executive of the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Cancer Society, commented, “We’re excited about our new venue at Claudelands and look forward to seeing Hamilton dressed up for a spectacular night that really makes a difference in our community. As a community-funded charity, we rely on fundraisers like the Ball to keep our doors open for the one in three New Zealanders affected by cancer.”

Funds raised from the Ball help the Cancer Society to support people with all types of cancer and prevent future cancers through education, advocacy and research.
This year the Cancer Society has enlisted the support of locally based PomPom Events & Marketing to assist with the coordination of the ball.

“We are really excited to be working on the Ball as the Cancer Society is a charity that is particularly dear to our hearts. We love the fact that we can work for such worthy causes and really make a difference. This year’s ball is really going to deliver on the “wow” factor for guests, so make sure you book your tickets early to avoid disappointment; it’s going to be an incredible night,” said Natalie Rutene, Managing Partner, PomPom Events & Marketing.
